Tavira

The town Tavira, 5 km from Cabanas, is one of the pearls on the Algarve coast. Many buildings are in picturesque Moorish style. There are many fine churches and a nice city park. Tavira is called the Venice of Algarve.

And one finds good supermarkets, a good market with fresh fish etc., lots of good restaurants and much, much more.
